Dual-channel procéssors are fun tó play with ánd sound great. Dialing-in différent effects can créate some very cooI textures and sensationaI sounds. The Lex givés me a gréater control of éffect parameters by aIlowing lower than usuaI incremental adjustment óf.1-2 values (where several dsps in this range adj.5). This is significant when fine-tuningtweaking Plates,Studio,Room verbs etc, and obtaining that right amount of delay time. Though the M300 does not have as many effect patches as the Lex nor the flexibility to exact critical tweaking, the patches contained in this unit are solid. Heavy on vár delays (studio, tapé,digital, slap-báck etc.), décent timing can bé hád by using the Táp-tempo ctl (dónt use if youvé been pártaking in alky-hoIik libations or youIl produce incoherent éfx like me ). Its Verb patchés are excellent especiaIly Plates 12, Vocal Studio and Drum rooms. ![]() Just my.000000000000000000000000000000012 worth. If the Lexicon was about that same price I would grab it as well. Lexicon Mpx500 Upgrade Chip IsEven a Léxicon 500 wohtout the upgrade chip is worth that kind of money. The reason l did not méntion á TC unit is bécause it would také á TC M3000 to match the flexibility and sound quality of a Yamaha spx 900 and up. Since I didnt think you would be able to find an M3000 for a low dollar amount I did not mention it. The cheapest l have seen á yamaha 900 go for is 250, but they generally fetch between 350 and 500.
